L’Oréal USA cuts ribbon on new HQ

THE WHAT? L’Oréal USA has cut the ribbon on its new West Coast headquarters, according to a report published by WWD. The French beauty giant’s American branch welcomed NYX Professional, Urban Decay, Pulp Riot and Youth to the People into their new offices last week.

THE DETAILS The new campus spans 25-acres with more than 100,000 square feet of office space – not all of it currently occupied. Indeed, L’Oréal USA dropped a heavy hint that it is poised to purchase further brands, with a space clearly earmarked for ‘Our Next Acquisition’ at the premises.

THE WHY? The campus is designed to bring L’Oréal’s West Coast brands together to enable them to benefit from the French beauty giant’s considerable resource. As David Greenberg. CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of L’Oréal North America, told WWD, “This is a ground-breaking experiment in how to make hybrid-working and the workplace of the future a place that people want to be… What we really want and what we really believe is that an environment that creates that kind of collaboration, that kind of connection, that kind of creativity is an enormous value to the business and an enormous value to the company.”
