L’Oréal welcomes Myriam Cohen-Welgryn as President, Active Cosmetics

THE WHAT? L’Oréal has announced the appointment of Myriam Cohen-Welgryn as President of its Active Cosmetics division.

THE DETAILS Cohen-Welgryn succeeds Brigitte Liberman who is due to retire at the end of the year after 15 years in the role and 34 years with the French cosmetics giant.

Cohen-Welgryn joins L’Oréal from Mars where she held the role of Regional President of Pet Nutrition Europe.

Thanks to her visionary skills, leadership talents and personal qualities she has led the Active Cosmetics Division to new levels of success. THE WHY? The French beauty giant said that Cohen-Welgryn’s strong track record in accelerating the growth and profitability of the business she managed as well as her experience in FMCG were among the attributes that scored her the role.
