THE WHAT? Lotte Duty Free is poised to open a flagship store in Sydney’s Central Business District, according to a report published by Shopping Centre News.
THE DETAILS The store will be located at 55 Market Street and will be the Korean travel retail operator’s first ground-up build in Australia.
Spread across three floors, the store will offer luxury beauty and skin care as well as watches, wine and liquor and VIP services. Opening is slated for 2021.
THE WHY? Stephen Timms, CEO of Lotte Duty Free Oceania told Shopping Centre News that the upmarket address would allow the travel retail operator to showcase its ‘quality curated offer’.
