Lumson Spa has announced an agreement for the acquisition of Leoplast make-up manufacturer into the Lumson Group portfolio.
The acquisition is aimed to boost Lumen’s lead in the high-end make-up category and strengthen its production capacity of primary packaging for lipsticks and development into international markets. Indeed, it comes as part of it’s strategy to make use of its European production platform in order to work more cohesively to supply customer ‘time to market’ needs, which the company states is getting ‘more and more pressing.’
According to a company statement, the Leoplast acquisition ‘enlarges its already wide range of products for make-up by introducing an extended offering of standard and custom lipsticks, available in different materials and finishes, with customization by innovative decoration technologies.’
The two companies share a strong awareness of sustainable production, with Lumson boasting UNI EN ISO14001 certification and the two companies having a large employment of renewable energies.
