Lush partners with Black Owned UAE to help Black-owned SMES throughout the Middle East

THE WHAT? Lush has announced that it has partnered with Black Owned UAE in order to address inequality and support those small businesses affected by the pandemic.

THE DETAILS The ethical cosmetics brand is hoping to build stronger and supportive relationships with minority-led and Black-owned businesses in the region through social media, upskilling opportunities and marketing help in the form of product photography, influencer send-outs, collaborations and barter options.

THE WHY? As Miche Whitehouse, Regional Retail Brand Manager at LUSH MENA, details, “We, at Lush, believe that all people should enjoy the freedom of movement across the world and it is a strong part of the LUSH ethos to help our communities achieve that. We are so excited to be working with the passionate team at Black Owned UAE. Many small businesses in the Middle East have taken a hit during the global health crisis and together, we want to support them in any way that we can.”
