Lush two-day digital Summit covers environmental issues across the industry

Lush kicked off its two-day digital Summit yesterday, which spanned topics on human rights, animal rights and the environment, with discussions, debates, and activism taking place from campaigners and grassroots voices across the globe.

The summit, broadcast live here, is being attended remotely by thousands of ‘change makers’ the world over, with the organisation set out to highlight how the charities and organisations are attempting to make a difference.

Issues being addressed include, climate change, forest protection, animal rights, illegal hunting, gender equality, indigenous rights and more, with advice coming from both grass roots organisations alongside larger multinationals.

According to Lush, “It’s a chance for cross pollination of ideas and solutions to some of the issues facing us in 2018. Across the venue there will be a number of themed rooms that offer passionate and inspiring talks, panel debates and experiences for you to explore, all from the comfort of your living room.”

Topics include: The Human Rights Space, The Migration and Disaster Space, The Environment Space, and The Queer Space.
