Users of Twitter and Instagram have been revealing their innovative, ‘off-label’ uses for Lush bath bombs, according to a report published by Allure.

Social media users have been posting pictures of an alternate use for the natural bath and body brand’s Golden Bath Bomb Melt – as a highlighter. Topped with gold shimmer, designed to coat your body when popped in the bath, shoppers can get a bit of that golden glow without going anywhere near a bathroom, if the multiple pictures posted on Twitter are to be believed.

@lissie_44 posted a pic of her fingertips coated in golden shimmer with the caption ‘Bath bomb or highlighter’, while @jayktwinters posted an image of a friend with her cheekbone enhanced with gold glitter, with the accompanying tweet reading ‘*goes to Lush to rub our fingers on a bath bomb to use as highlighter*.
