Luxury FMCG company LVMH has announced the launch of an annual accelerator program set to take place at the start-up Station F campus in Paris, La Maison des Startups.
Taking on 50 start-ups each year, the program is designed to bolster innovation within the luxury market with innovative new products and services, as well as driving business acceleration between the company’s Maisons and start-ups.
The 220-square metre space will boast 89 work stations and is said to reaffirm LVMH’s ‘values of innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and excellence, the pillars that anchor the Group’s growth’ by offering a multi-sector approach.
The chosen start-ups, relevant to LVMH’s business groups wines & spirits, fashion & leather goods, perfumes & cosmetics, watches & jewellery and selective retailing, will have access to the ecosystem formed by the groups’ 70 Maisons.
Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO, LVMH, said, “Innovation is an integral part of the history of our Maisons, which are often centuries old. This is why we know, perhaps better than others, how to find ways of working with startups that benefit us all.”
The program will include a series of workshops to familiarize start-ups with challenges as well as network sessions.
