M.A.C has announced the appointment of James Aquilina as Senior Vice President, General Manager, International & Global Commercial.
Aquilina will succeed Mary Renaud, who retired in August following a 35 year-career with the brand, and will ‘own the Global Commercial Strategy inclusive of the International P&L and Global Retail channel.’
As part of his role Aquilina will be responsible for driving programs, engaging local consumers, and collaborating across markets to anticipate future trends for the company. Aquilina will also be tasked with leading the development of a new retail and consumer-centric organization to create an integrated global omnichannel strategy, helping accelerate the M∙A∙C business overall.
Bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge, Aquilina has previously held positions such as his most recent role as Vice President/General Manager, International, Tom Ford Beauty. During his 13 years with ELC, Aquilina also worked in travel retail, as well as looking after the Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London and La Mer brands as regional director.
