MAC launches reward scheme to rival competitors

Color cosmetics maker MAC has launched a new three-tier reward scheme called MAC Select that will give loyal consumers various perks when signing up.

Until now the cult-brand has steered clear of any such scheme, however, no doubt in a bid to challenge the likes of Sephora – which offers a very successful reward scheme – the MAC Select scheme is sure to please MAC’s loyal followers.

The three tiers are called Seduced, Devoted and Obsessed. The first tier is simply when consumers sign up, who will then receive access to limited edition products, an anniversary gift, free samples with online purchases, free standard shipping and expanded access to the Back to Mac program. Devoted and Obsessed give consumers the same perk, but additional benefits such as enhanced product samples and two complimentary full make up applications when users spend $150 and $500 respectively.
