MAC renews partnership with Tencent’s Honor of Kings

THE WHAT? MAC has teamed up once more with Tencent’s Honor of Kings online game. The Lauder-owned brand has unveiled a new collection inspired by the male characters in the multiplayer battle e-sport, according to a report published by AFP Relax News.

THE DETAILS Comprising a highlighter, lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and pro-palettes in hues designed to represent Bai, Shouyue, Yun, Xin and Liang, the collection is designed to offer fans of the virtual boy band an immersive experience.

The MAC x Honor of Kings collection will be rolled out this month.

THE WHY? As one of the world’s most profitable gaming properties, having grossed US$1.6 billion in 2019, MAC is onto a sure thing, especially as e-sports’ popularity has been boosted of late thanks to COVID-19.
