Vacuum specialist Dyson has launched onto the beauty market with a bang, unveiling its first hairdryer.
The Dyson Supersonic was four years in the making, with development costing a whopping US$71 million, spanning 600 prototypes.
The hairdryer boasts a V9 digital motor, with 13 blades designed to reduce noise, four heat settings and a heat-control detector, which maintains the temperature at 248 degrees to prevent heat damage and retain shine.
The hairdryer will be sold in Sephora stores and via Dyson’s own website.
