Lancôme has announced its latest brand ambassador as Malaysian TV star Neelofa, breaking ground with the first face from the country and also its first hijab-wearing spokesperson.

Neelofa, who stars in Suri Hati Mr Pilot, has a slew of social media followers and will join the likes of Julia Roberts, Emma Watson and Juliette Binoche as part of the L’Oréal-owned brand’s team.

The actress expressed her excitement over the role via her Instagram profile, stating, “I have always been a fan of #LancomeMY and I have grown to love the brand more over the years because its values, vision and philosophy align with my values as a woman.
