Mary Kay cuts ribbon on Peru subsidiary

Mary Kay has officially opened the doors on its new Peruvian subsidiary. The US direct sales brand celebrated the launch of its newest market with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the weekend.

“We are proud to further expand our operations in Latin America with the opening of Mary Kay Peru,” said David Holl, President and CEO for Mary Kay Inc. “As the demand for high quality products increases and the entrepreneurial spirit strengthens with the country’s economic growth, we anticipate a successful launch in Peru.”

The company’s Lima base will cover operations for the whole of the country. The company has made an initial investment of US$9 million in its Peruvian subsidiary.
