Mary Kay sells Regal Row manufacturing facility

US direct sales giant Mary Kay has sold its Dallas plant for an undisclosed sum, according to a report published by Dallas News.

The 420,000 sq ft plant has been central to the brand’s global manufacturing operations for the past 40 years. The Regal Row site will now be transformed into the corporate headquarters for precision sheet metal manufacturer, Humanetics, with a move-in date set for 2020.

Meanwhile, Mary Kay’s new Lewisville plant is under construction. The US$125 million project will see the cosmetics company gain an additional 50,000 square feet of space, allowing it to grow and ‘remain a competitive employer’.
