Maybelline aims to attract makeup artist customers in Nigeria

Maybelline New York is holding a beauty master class in Lagos with international makeup artist Bimpe Onakoya as part of a campaign to promote its products among Nigeria’s community of makeup artists.

The event is being held at L’Oreal’s Lagos office on April 23 and features morning and afternoon training sessions in which Onakoya will teach makeup artists how to create a range of looks using the brand’s products.

Onakoya is Artistic Director of Maybelline New York Nigeria. She has been a makeup artist for over eleven years and has gained industry experience spanning television, print, editorial shoots, advertising campaigns, bridal beauty, fashion shows and events. She has worked at New York Fashion Week with designers such as DKNY, Lacoste, J Mendel and Mara Hoffman.

Makeup artists are permitted to attend the workshop for free if they purchase Maybelline New York products worth N15,000.
