THE WHAT? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Foundation has announced a multi-year global partnership with personal care giant Procter & Gamble, which will focus on building more compassionate communities.
THE DETAILS According to a statement, the partnership will focus on gender equality, creating inclusive online spaces, and resilience and impact through sports.
Other work will include elevating ‘the voices of adolescent girls’ to ensure their ‘point of view and lived experience is heard at the tables where decisions are made.’ The collaboration will also work with men and boys to encourage gender equality.
Archewell is also joining P&G in its pledge to support parents of ‘every makeup and walk of life.’
THE WHY? The statement goes on to explain that the partnership will, “build on joint aspirations, most recently demonstrated by our work together in support of Global Citizen’s VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World, an event that inspired vaccine confidence worldwide and mobilized more than $300 million in the push for greater global access to COVID-19 vaccines.”
