Today, ModiFace is launching a new universal web-based skin assessment platform. The new technology works as a virtual skin consultation, providing a detailed, patented analysis of user images, providing motivational suggestions to improve skin health, before recommending appropriate products.
The platform is built in HTML and is compatible with Windows, iOS and Android across mobile, tablet and desktop devices. The new technology has been tested jointly with L’Oréal’s Vichy brand and was recently widely deployed on the marque’s web and mobile sites.
“We realized that instead of scoring the user’s skin based on different dimensions, it would be far more useful to provide specific personalized advice that is both motivational and instructional. In other words, instead of criticizing the user’s skin or measuring their ‘skin age’, we tell users what is great about their current skin and how to maintain and enhance their skin health,” said Dr Parham Aarabi, ModiFace Founder and CEO.
