THE WHAT? Moroccanoil has announced the launch of its signature scent as a hair and body mist, the brand’s first expansion into the fragrance market.
THE DETAILS Named Brumes du Maroc, the mist took four years of development and will be stocked via retailers and salons, as well as the Sephora website and in-store.
The product is predicted to become a bestseller for the company due to the build-up of its launch, with the fragrance being a trademark of the company for its genderless scent.
THE WHY? The company’s first foray into the fragrance market, the hair and body mist has been an anticipated development for Moroccanoil.
Carmen Tal, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, said, “We decided to launch the fragrance because it’s something that’s been requested for years. It’s always the product that people are guessing and asking for when we tease out a new launch.”
