L’Oréal is moving its New York retail space and training facility, while Shiseido has expanded its New York offices with the addition of an extra floor, according to a report published in the New York Post.
L’Oréal’s store and Redken 5th Avenue NYC training facility will relocate a few blocks south from 565 Fifth Avenue at East 46th Street to a 10,000-square-foot ground- and second-floor space at 404 Fifth Avenue at West 37th Street. The 1,000-square-foot ground floor will house the retail arm, while the larger upper floors will be reserved for training.
Shiseido, meanwhile, has renovated and extended its Third Avenue office. The Japanese cosmetics giant now holds almost 70,000 square feet thanks to the addition of the 17,343-square-foot 16th floor to complement the 51,852-square-foot space split between the sixth, ninth and 15th floors.
