Procter & Gamble is said to have sold its Tag personal care brand to My Imports USA. Financial details were not disclosed.
P&G is said to have sold Tag back to My Imports USA, which originally launched the brand in 2005. P&G initially acquired Tag during the sale of the Gillette range.
Fahim Ibrahimi, CEO of My Imports USA, said in a statement, “We are excited to have TAG as a part of our family of brands and our go-forward strategy to own and market well-known brands.”
My Imports USA is expected to try and market the range of deodorants and body sprays across the globe in an international marketing campaign, while adding new products to the range.
