Natura supports labour integration of workers in Chile with new training workshop

Natura’s Chilean subsidiary has joined forces with International Organization for Migration (IOM) to continue its efforts in supporting the labour integration of refugees and migrants in the country via a new workshop that took place last week.

Known for its commitment to sustainability and diversity in the country, Natura held an IOM workshop in its Chilean unit that aimed to enhance the resilience of migrant workers, and carried out training for 12 Venezuelan works, the largest group of foreign-workers within the company.

The workshop was co-developed through the IOM’s work with UN Women Chile and its Win-Win program, which aims to encourage an inclusive environment through integration and quality of life.

Talking to the paper, María Erminia Mirena, a Venezuelan that has worked for Natura for three months, said, “We thank the Chileans who receive, welcome and help Venezuelans to position themselves in the labour market, since the main challenge we have is how we adapt to a different culture, contributing with the experience and knowledge that we bring from our country.”
