New Victoria Beckham £180 serum likened to Nivea mass market product

THE WHAT? Victoria Beckham has just released her latest offering to the skincare market – a £180 skincare serum that is being likened to a £10 mass market product by Beiersdorf’s Nivea, according to The Sun.

THE DETAILS The Victoria Beckham serum and its Nivea equivalent, the Cellular Anti-Age Concentrated Face Serum, are said to contain many of the same ingredients – such as sodium hyaluronate, a tissue lubricant, 1,2-hexanediol and benzyl alcohol.

Likewise, both products promise to give firmer skin and ‘reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.’

THE WHY? Fans have taken to social media to voice their displeasure at the new serum’s ultra-premium price tag, with one user stating, “Got seriously excited but Googled it and it’s £180. Back to Oil of Olay it is.”

Speaking of the new product, Beckham stated, “The science behind this is so incredible and I really notice a difference in my pore size and the fine lines around my eyes.”
