Nice Cote d’Azur to renew entire retail offer

THE WHAT? Nice Cote d’Azur Airport has issued a call for tenders covering its entire commercial offer, split between its three terminals dedicated to scheduled and business flights.

THE DETAILS The 28 stores up for tender account for more than 80 percent of all retail sales at the airport and cover floor space of almost 4,500 sq m. The airport operator is looking for a partner who can bring its terminals to life and meet the expectations of travellers. Some 52 percent of passengers fit into the high-income category.

Applications close at the end of the month; successful candidates will be invited to tender in February next year and the final selection will be made in May 2024. Works are scheduled to start in November with opening slated for early 2025.

THE WHY? The airport aims to enhance its vision of a retail environment that embodies the French Riviera’s wealth and diversity as well as align with its ambitious environmental policy.
