THE WHAT? L’Oreal has announced the appointment of Denee Pearson to Global Brand President for its NYX Professional Makeup brand.

THE DETAILS Pearson joined L’Oreal as an intern in 2001 and has held worked across the French beauty behemoth’s luxury and mass-market businesses. She joined NYX Professional Makeup in 2019 as SVP of Global Brand Innovation and will succeed Yann Joffredo, whose LinkedIn has yet to be updated with his future plans.

THE WHY? Pearson is described as a dynamic leader and was instrumental in NYX’s revamped innovation strategy and landing some of the brand’s biggest partnerships with top Hollywood studios, including Warner Bros. Discovery’s Barbie The Movie.
