Orders surge at Heaven skin care as traders rush to take advantage of weak sterling

The owner of UK skin care brand Heaven has revealed that the sharp drop in value of the pound on Friday prompted a flurry of orders as international clients rushed to take advantage of the favourable exchange rate, according to a report published by The Sunday Times.

“We’ve never taken so much money in such a short space of time,” Founder Deborah Mitchell told The Sunday Times.

Revenues hit £250,000 on Friday morning, up 80 percent on the previous day.
