P&G appoints new Global Head of Beauty

Procter & Gamble has announced the replacement for Patrice Louvet, who is leaving the company to join Ralph Lauren. Alex Keith will head up the US FMCG giant’s global beauty business, according to a report published by Cincinnati.com

Currently President of Global and Personal Care, Keith’s appointment is effective July 1. She will be charged with overseeing the US$11.5 billion business unit, reporting to CEO David Taylor.

“Alex comes into the role with a history of strong business results, outstanding beauty know-how, and a deep understanding of the industry and markets,” said Taylor.   

Markus Strobel, Vice President and Brand Franchise Leader of SK-II, will succeed Keith in her current role of President.
