THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble CEO, Jon Moeller has revealed that the US FMCG giant’s response to rising inflation will be to emphasize the value of its brands via renewed marketing efforts, according to a report published by Bloomberg.
THE DETAILS The manufacturer of Pantene said that it would be justifying the higher prices of its products compared to competitors in future campaigns as well as producing affordable entry-level products for less affluent shoppers.
THE WHY? Moeller told an online audience, per Bloomberg, “We need to be even more deliberate on communication of the value that our brands provide consumers.”
