THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble could be poised to construct a new manufacturing facility in North Carolina’s Guilford County, according to a report published by the Rhino Times.
THE DETAILS The County Board of Commissioners met in a closed session in the first week of August, per the Rhino Times, and have since scheduled a public hearing for an economic incentive request to the tune of US$2 million for the US FMCG giant.
THE WHY? The new plant is expected to generate some US$110 million in capital investment and create 46 new full time jobs for the region.
