Hair color specialist Pravana has taken to Instagram to tease the launch of its new heat-activated hair dyes, which are said to create multi-colored locks when heat is applied.

Showcasing various models with different colored hair, the brand teased consumers with the hashtag #staytuned, while not giving a release date for the colorant.

It’s unclear from the videos how long the dyes will last once applied, but they are thought to change different colors upon being put under heat.

It’s not the first time a heat-activated hair colorant has hit the news recently, with the trend also picked up by UK brand The Unseen, which showcased ‘Fire’, a color that changes based on ‘temperature fluctuations’, at London Fashion Week.

This dye is also yet to be released.
