Mauritius Cosmetics has reported a profit before tax of R1.4 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, considerably down on the R3.9 million the company posted in the same period last year.
Quarterly revenue slid to R13.4 million (from 18.5 million in 1Q 2015).
Mauritius Cosmetics is part of the Deramann Group and produces Blendex toothpaste under license from Procter & Gamble, Kamill cosmetics for German company Burnus and perfumes for French company Beauté Diffusion.
