Procter & Gamble (P&G) has acquired New Zealand skincare brand Snowberry in what is thought to be a multi-million dollar deal that was closed last week.
The acquisition will add Snowberry’s range of natural skincare products will evolve P&G’s current skincare offering, with the products currently sold predominately in China, New Zealand and the US.
P&G spokeswoman Kelly Vanasse told bizjournals.com, “Snowberry brings to our collection of skincare brands unique formulas rooted in the intersection of nature and science. It is a beautiful brand and story with outstanding performance, which makes it a great fit for P&G.”
The second acquisition in two months for P&G, Snowberry will continue to be run by its current team based in New Zealand.
Greg Billington, General Manager of Snowberry New Zealand, told the New Zealand Herald, “P&G has extraordinary R&D and marketing resources. Snowberry management considers it a privilege and a hugely exciting opportunity to have access to those resources, to continue to develop the anti-aging solutions that we know our customers want.”
