Procter & Gamble contributes $178 million to pension fund

Procter & Gamble has contributed $178 million to its global defined benefit plans in the fiscal year ending June 30, according to a report by Pensions & Investments.

Divulged in a 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, it did not state how the fund was split between regions, however, it was noted that its assets where primarily outside the U.S.

The company is expected to contribute $62 million in the current fiscal year to 30 June 2020, while it previously provided a much higher figure of $406 million in the year ending June 2018.
