Procter & Gamble offers relief to residents affected by Hurricane Ian in Florida 

THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble has offered relief to residents affected by Hurricane Ian in Florida, offering families, individuals and first responders personal care items, cleaning products or laundry services.

THE DETAILS In partnership with international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization, Matthew 25: Ministries, P&G has distributed free personal care kits with everyday essentials as well as cleaning products to meet basic hygiene and home care needs directly into the affected areas of those impacted by the disaster.

The personal care giant has also deployed the Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Units, which provided free, full-service laundry to residents affected by the recent floods.

THE WHY? Hurricane Ian – a Category 4 storm with up to 150-mph winds – destroyed thousands of homes and buildings in the southwest coast of Florida, with the Tide Loads of Hope having provided free laundry services to families affected by disasters for 15 years.
