THE WHAT? Puig has announced revenues in excess of €3,600 million for 2022, with net income reaching €400 million.
THE DETAILS Revenues increased by 40 percent compared to 2021 while net income grew by 71 percent.
In terms of categories, fragrances and fashion accounted for 74 percent, make-up 17 percent and skincare 9 percent.
Geographically, EMEA made up 54 percent of sales, Americas 36 percent, while Asia was 10 percent.
THE WHY? Puig is the latest luxury house to report soaring results, joining the likes of Hermès and Farfetch.
The strong 2022 figures were attributed to Puig reinforcing its brand portfolio through the acquisition of a majority stake in the Swedish luxury brand Byredo and the incorporation of the wellness brands Kama Ayurveda and Loto del Sur.
