Puig strikes fragrance deal with Argentinian fashion house Rapsodia

After announcing its investment in Colombian Loto del Sur earlier this year, Puig is expanding its Latin American presence still further with a partnership with Argentinian fashion house, Rapsodia, according to a report published by Mds.

The duo debuted the clothing label’s first fragrance, named Indie, last week. The fragrance is described as a floral-woody, feminine and original scent on Rapsodia’s Instagram page with notes of peony, bergamot, rose, sandalwood and jasmine.

Emerging markets account for some 41 percent of the Puig’s business and, with the Spanish fragrance giant’s goal to generate revenues of €3 billion by 2025, growth in South America will no doubt be key to realising its ambition.
