PZ Cussons drafts in Diageo Planning Director to newly created role

THE WHAT? PZ Cussons has poached Diageo Global Consumer Planning Director, Andrew Geoghegan to fill the newly created role of Chief Marketing Transformation Officer, according to a report published by Marketing Week.

THE DETAILS Geoghegan will join the St Tropez manufacturer in August and is charged with developing and driving local brand building activities and capabilities as well as driving diversity and inclusivity at executive level.

THE WHY? The move is part of the Original Source and Carex owner’s wider strategy to strengthen its portfolio of brands and reverse dwindling sales growth, Marketing Week said.
