The 4th edition of the PZ Cussons Chemistry Challenge Competition (PZCCC) has been launched in Nigeria, which has been created to inspire chemistry knowledge in secondary school students.
Launched in 2013 by the PZ Cussons Foundation, the competition is run by Premier Soap and Nunu Milk, and has four stages: a written quiz for shortlisted candidates, a written quiz for the top 100 from stage one, a practical for the best 24 candidates from stage two, and, for the finals, a live competition between the six finalists on stage.
The competition has gained industry recognition due to its motivation for young people, with PZ Cussons winning awards from the LASG Ministry of Education and chemistry associations.
Teachers will be allowed to compete alongside students in the 4th edition, with female entries encouraged.
