British soccer team Manchester City FC is hoping to boost its fan base in Nigeria thanks to a partnership with personal care manufacturer PZ Cussons, according to a report published by The Nation.
PZ Cussons will promote the club as ‘Official Partner’ via its Premiership Cool brands in Nigeria.

Nigeria is a really important market for Manchester City, it is roughly our third biggest market, in terms of fan base so I think working with brands like Premier Cool, a brand that is well known, presents exciting opportunities for our fans and the club,” said Jeremy Way, Senior Partner, Marketing at City Football Group.
