Revlon completes acquisition of UK fragrance companies CBBeauty And SAS & Company

Revlon has announced that it has acquired two fragrance businesses specialising in celebrity-branded scents: CBBeauty, which produces One Direction beauty products and SAS & Company, which distributes Rihanna perfumes.

Founded by Corrado Brondi in 2011, CBBeauty distributes and markets perfumes and beauty products under the One Direction brand in more than 80 countries around the world and provides international sales, marketing and strategic services to a select number of celebrity and fashion fragrance brands.

SAS & Company, established in 2010 by Shelley Smyth, is a distributor of fragrance, cosmetics, skincare and personal care products focusing on the UK and Ireland. The company distributes and markets perfumes and beauty products from a portfolio of leading brands such as Burberry, Carven, One Direction and Rihanna. SAS is also the fragrance licensee for UK artists such as Little Mix and Cheryl.

CBBeauty and SAS & Company will operate as an independently managed division within Revlon, under the continued leadership of Corrado Brondi as CEO of CBBeauty and  Shelley Smyth as CEO of SAS & Company.

CBBeauty and S&S Company are the latest additions to Revlon’s global brand portfolio which includes Revlon colour cosmetics, Almay, SinfulColors, Pure Ice, and Michum, among others.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
