Revlon looks to Goldman Sachs for help exploring strategic options

Revlon is said to be looking to Goldman Sachs as it hopes to explore strategic options for the company, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Citing ‘a person with knowledge of the matter’, it was reported that Revlon is exploring all options including a sale of parts or all of the business, however, no deals have as yet been made.

The news comes amidst uncertain times for the company as it struggles to grow sales, with the Elizabeth Arden brand being the only unit that reported growth in the last quarter.

Shares of the company were up 5 percent following the news.

    The company has struggled for some time and its brands are in need of some investment and repositioning to halt the decline.
