THE WHAT? Revlon is hoping to double its Indian business before the end of the current financial year. Together with its local partner, Modi-Mundipharma Beauty Products, the company is set to open a further 300 stores.
THE DETAILS According to a report published by the Economic Times, the US beauty brand will also increase its presence in department stores fourfold in the next two to three years.
THE WHY? Revlon is looking to improve its visibility and merchandising in tier II cities in order to benefit from India’s booming beauty market.
