THE WHAT?  Revolution Beauty Group has made it official: Lauren Brindley, the previous vice president for beauty and personal care at Walgreens, is stepping in as the new chief executive.

THE DETAILS  Boasting an impressive track record in the beauty industry, Brindley’s expertise is well-established. She has served notable stints at renowned British pharmacy chains, including Boots UK and Boots Retail International. She’s slated to take the reins as CEO on September 18.

THE WHY?  The leadership shift follows the resignation of Bob Holt in July. Holt’s exit stemmed from a settlement with Revolution Beauty Group’s primary shareholder, online fashion mogul Boohoo. The retailer had aired grievances about the company’s management style, sparking this pivotal change.
