THE WHAT? Henkel’s Schwarzkopf has become the first Australian advertiser to launch a collections campaign via social media site Pinterest.
THE DETAILS The advertisement features many products in a single image in order for Pinterest users to view a plethora of the brand’s hair colors in one location.
Lauren Gooch, Schwarzkopf ANZ Communications Manager, said, “A semi-permanent colour that lasts approximately eight washes so you can change the colour as often as you like, it simply fades out. There is a variety of shades in the range, from soft pastel hues, to ultra-bright looks, and the collections format allows us to showcase the entire colourful range and reach consumers who are specifically searching for this inspiration.”
Schwarzkopf will showcase a range of hair colors from dusty lavender to bright pink.
THE WHY? The development highlights the ongoing importance placed on social media advertising and brand’s ongoing strategy in diversifying their marketing offerings.
