THE WHAT? CEO and President of Sephora, Martin Brok is set to leave the company at the end of the month, according to a report published by WWD.
THE DETAILS Brok, who joined the LVMH-owned retailer in September 2020 from Starbucks, will be replaced by his predecessor, Chris de Lapuente, who will take on the role in addition to his duties as Chairman and CEO of LVMH’s Selective Retailing Division.
THE WHY? The LVMH executives declined to comment when approached by WWD, who speculates that Brok’s departure is due to a ‘divergence of views’, quoting an internal memo it has obtained.
