THE WHAT? Sephora has awarded its US$250 million media account for the North American region to Publicis Groupe, according to a report published by Media Post.
THE DETAILS The LVMH-owned perfumery chain completed a four-month-long review of its media agency and decided to oust incumbent Dentsu Aegis Network in favor of the French media giant.
Digitas will lead the partnership, with sister agency Epsilon assisting with data.
THE WHY? Sephora’s chosen partner ‘maximises media holding group talents, thought leadership, tools, technology and media buying potential’, Media Post explained, and Publicis fitted the bill.
