Sephora speeds up delivery to two-hour window and debuts live help

THE WHAT? Sephora has announced the launch of a same-day delivery service. Customers of the LVMH-owned retailer will now be able to receive their beauty products within two hours of ordering.

THE DETAILS Available seven days a week in most major cities and suburbs for orders placed before 4 pm, same-day orders will be retrieved from a nearby store and delivered by courier for a flat fee of US$6.95.

Shoppers will also be able to benefit from an improved shopping advisory tool, Live Beauty Help (previously Home Chat). The new service will connect clients directly with a live Beauty Advisor.

THE WHY? Sephora revealed that nearly half of its shoppers place Same Day delivery in their top three delivery methods as consumers seek convenient and fast fulfilment options.
