THE WHAT? Sephora US has announced the appointment of Zena Srivatsa Arnold as Chief Marketing Officer, effective in June, according to a report published by WWD. Arnold joins the LVMH-owned retailer from PepsiCo where she served as Senior Vice President.
THE DETAILS Arnold will takeover from Deborah Yeh who transitioned to the sole role of Global Chief Purpose Officer in January after serving under dual titles for more than a year.
THE WHY? Jean-Andre Rougeot told staff in a memo, per WWD, “Zena brings extensive experience in not only building and growing brands but driving initiatives that reach clients digitally. She brings that rare experience of both traditional consumer marketing and performance marketing.”
