‘She has done everything’: Group President, Thia Breen to retire after 40 years at Estée Lauder

Thia Breen is bringing her 40-year career to an end, as she announces her retirement from her role as Group President of North America at Estée Lauder Companies, according to a report published by WWD.

Breen’s announcement has prompted a major reshuffle across Lauder’s offices; she will be succeeded by Chris Good, President UK and Ireland who in turn will be replaced by Phillippe Warnery, Canadian GM. All changes are effective July 1.

Breen joined Lauder as a Clinique Account Executive in 1977. “Thia Breen is one of the most remarkable executives that Estée Lauder has ever had and one of the most remarkable in the cosmetics industry,” Leonard A Lauder, Chairman Emeritus, told WWD.
