THE WHAT Shiseido has announced the candidates for the Directors and Audit & Supervisory Board Members to replace exiting External Director Yoshiaki Fujimori.
THE DETAILS Voting will take place at the company’s 122nd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, which will be held in late March 2022.
If approved, the new External Directors will be Charles D. Late II and Mariko Tokuno.
Directors and Audit & Supervisory Board Members will include Masahiko Uotani, Yukari Suzuki, Norio Tadakawa, and Takayuki Yokota, amongst others.
Audit & Supervisory Board Members will include Takeshi Yoshida and Akiko Uno.
According to Shiseido, as Takeshi Yoshida’s term will expire at the end of the General Meeting of Shareholders, the company will propose him as a candidate for reappointment as Audit & Supervisory Board Member at the General Meeting of Shareholders.
THE WHY The new appointments follow the retirement of External Director Yoshiaki Fujimori, which will take place after the GM.
